Smart Thinking

Three men's clothing stores all opened in a new shopping centre
and found themselves adjacent to each other. It quickly became
clear that they could not all survive.

The man at one end had a degree in merchandising so created a
fabulous window display with posters declaring "Year-End
Clearance".

The man at the other end had an MBA in Marketing. He ran special
campaigns in the press and on radio.

The woman in the middle had no degrees but had worked her way up
from being a shop assistant. What did she do? She simply hung a
banner outside her storefront saying: "Main Entrance".

Moral: Smart thinking always beats competitive thinking.
